Terms of Trade

1. Company details

QuizBold is operated by:

  • Kronos (sole proprietorship)
  • Danish company reg. no. (CVR): 45654404
  • Address: Falkoner Allé 100, 2. th., 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark
  • Email: kontakt@quizbold.dk

2. The product

Season Ticket (Sæsonkort) is a digital subscription to QuizBold. It unlocks the full archive of past daily grids, unlimited boards on the Training Ground, up to 30 saved grids in Build-your-own, unlimited online challenges, and a profile badge. The content is delivered digitally and requires a QuizBold account.

3. Prices and payment

QuizBold runs on several country domains. The price and currency follow the domain you buy on, and the currency shown next to the button is the currency you are charged in:

DomainMonthlyYearly
quizbold.dkDKK 29DKK 199
quizbold.seSEK 45SEK 299
quizbold.com€3.99€26.99
  • All prices include Danish VAT (25%). QuizBold supplies digital services from Denmark, and as long as our total sales to consumers in other EU countries stay below the common EU threshold of EUR 10,000 per year excluding VAT, the place of supply remains Denmark under section 21 e of the Danish VAT Act. If we exceed the threshold, VAT will be charged at your country's rate going forward; any resulting price change is announced under clause 7.
  • Payment is handled by Stripe (card, MobilePay and others). QuizBold never sees or stores your card details.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. For yearly subscriptions we send a reminder before renewal.

4. Delivery

Access is activated immediately after payment completes and is tied to your QuizBold account, across devices and across domains.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Danish consumer contract law (forbrugeraftaleloven).

A Season Ticket is digital content delivered immediately. When you complete the purchase you expressly consent to delivery beginning at once, and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal lapses once delivery is complete. You confirm this in the checkout flow before payment is taken.

We refund you anyway. Regardless of the above, if you change your mind within 14 days we refund the remaining part of the period pro rata. This is a voluntary policy that leaves you better off than the law requires, and it applies for as long as these terms do. Write to kontakt@quizbold.dk.

If you prefer to exercise the statutory right of withdrawal, you may use the model withdrawal form in Appendix A, but it is not required: a plain email is enough as long as it is unambiguous.

6. Cancellation and refunds

  • You can cancel at any time through the subscription portal (Manage subscription, on your profile). Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Yearly subscriptions: you may additionally cancel with one month's notice to the end of a month once 5 months have passed since the agreement was entered into, and have the remaining prepayment refunded pro rata, under section 28 of the Danish consumer contracts act. Contact kontakt@quizbold.dk and we will sort it out.

7. Changes to prices and content

Material changes to price or content are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect for existing subscribers. If you do not wish to continue on the new terms, you can cancel before they take effect.

8. Personal data

See the privacy policy at /privatlivspolitik.

When you buy, Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. processes payment data on our behalf as a data processor. We pass your email address and an internal user id to Stripe so the subscription can be tied to your account; Stripe separately receives the card and payment details you enter, which we never have access to. Stripe processes the data under its own data processing agreement and may transfer it outside the EU/EEA on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We ourselves store only what is needed to give you access and to comply with bookkeeping rules: subscription status, period, plan, currency and Stripe ids. Accounting records are kept for 5 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act, and deleted after that.

9. Complaints

If something is wrong, email kontakt@quizbold.dk first; that is usually fastest. If we cannot resolve it, you can complain to:

  • Nævnenes Hus, Center for Klageløsning / Forbrugerklagenævnet, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark (naevneneshus.dk). Note that the board only handles claims above a minimum value (currently DKK 1,110), which a single Season Ticket purchase typically falls below.
  • If you live in another EU country, you may also contact the consumer dispute body in your own country or your local European Consumer Centre (ECC).

10. Governing law

The agreement is governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, you can additionally rely on the mandatory consumer protection rules of your own country.

Appendix A – Model withdrawal form

Complete and return this form only if you wish to exercise the statutory right of withdrawal. A plain, unambiguous email works too.
