Delete your data
You can delete your QuizBold account whenever you want. Deleting the account removes your personal data from our systems, and you do not have to ask us first.
On the website
- Sign in and open Profile.
- Scroll down to Danger zone.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
In the app
- Open the Profile tab.
- Scroll down to Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm in the dialog.
By email
Locked out of your account? Write to us from the address you signed up with and we delete it for you.

What gets deleted
Deleting the account removes:
- Your account, name, email address and profile picture
- Your daily progress, results and scores
- Your leaderboard entries, including the device identifier used against cheating
- Your achievements and statistics
- Your friends and friend requests
- Your notifications and settings
- Your subscription record, if you have one
What we keep
Three things survive the deletion:
- Game statistics that no longer point at you. Your guesses stay in the totals that decide how rare an answer is, with the link to your account removed.
- Purchase records we are required to keep under accounting law, if you bought a Sæsonkort.
- Boards you built and shared stay playable, without your name on them.
How long it takes
The account disappears immediately. Copies in our backups are overwritten within 30 days.
