Which games are there?

Eleven: Today's Grid, Today's Player, The Starting XI, The Career, Connections, The Chain, Closest, Name Hunt, Crests, Mini Crossword and Higher or Lower. The first ten have a new board every day. Higher or Lower has no end: you play until you get one wrong.

When do new boards arrive?

Every daily game gets a new board at midnight Danish time, wherever you are in the world. Everyone playing the same board gets the same puzzle, so you can compare results afterwards.

Today's QuizBold puts the day's boards in one place. If you missed a day, yesterday's board is free in The Archive. Older boards need a Seasoncard, and games played in The Archive do not count towards the leaderboard or your streak.

What counts as a correct answer on Today's Grid?

Every cell has one requirement from its row and one from its column, and the player has to meet both. A club requirement is met if the player has played for the club according to our data.

The mark next to a requirement says where it has to be met. The globe means in any competition we have data for. The shield means for the club in the cell. The trophy means in the league or competition the grid is about. A requirement with no mark is a personal fact, such as the player being a goalkeeper.

You get one guess per cell, and a wrong guess locks the cell. The same player can only be used once on a grid.

How do I score points, and what does rarity mean?

On Today's Grid every correct answer is worth between 100 and 1,000 points. Two things decide how many: how obvious the player is for the cell, and how many others picked the same answer. A star that many people find is worth less than an overlooked player who also fits. That is what we call rarity.

The other games each have their own rules, which you find in the game's help. What they share is that fewer guesses and fewer mistakes mean more points. A Seasoncard does not change points or rankings.

How does the streak work?

Your streak counts how many days in a row you have finished at least one of today's boards. Finishing is enough; you do not have to solve it. The day changes at midnight Danish time, and games in The Archive do not count.

For every seven days in a row that you play, you earn a reserve day, and you can hold at most two. If you skip one day while holding a reserve day, it is used automatically and the streak survives. If you skip two days in a row, the streak starts again from zero.

Which leagues and competitions can I play?

Today's Grid exists for eight leagues: Superliga, Allsvenskan, Eliteserien, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1. On top of those there are grids for the World Cup, the Euros, the Champions League, the Europa League and the Conference League, and an international grid.

Today's Player, The Starting XI and The Career also have a board per league and competition, and Today's Player and The Career have one for the whole world as well. Connections and The Chain have one board that is the same for everyone.

You choose the league at the top of the page. Until you do, you get the league for your language: Superliga in Danish, Allsvenskan in Swedish, Eliteserien in Norwegian and the Premier League in English.

Why is a player missing, or a club wrong?

The answers are built from the matches and seasons we have data for. If a competition, a season or a match is missing from our data, a player who really does fit can be rejected. Data coverage in the game shows which competitions and seasons are included.

If you find a mistake, write to us with the player's name, the game and the date of the board. We fix mistakes as we go, and every correction is recorded with the source that settled it.

How do I add friends?

Sign in, open Friends and search for your friend's username. Once your friend has accepted the request, you can compare results and play each other in Online multiplayer.

How do I play against other people?

Local multiplayer brings 2 to 9 players together around the same grid on one device.

Online multiplayer is played turn by turn against a friend, at your own pace. You get a notification when it is your turn, and every move has to be made within 72 hours, or the player who ran out of time loses. Accepting an invitation is always free; without a Seasoncard you can start a limited number of matches a week.

Both need you to be signed in.

Do I need an account?

No. All of today's boards can be played as a guest, and your results are then saved on the device you play on.

With an account you join the leaderboard, your results and your streak follow you across devices and between the website and the app, and you get friends, stats, the Training Ground, multiplayer and Build Your Own. If you sign in after playing as a guest, your rounds count towards your stats and streak, but not the leaderboard.

What does Seasoncard give me?

Seasoncard (Sæsonkort in Danish) is QuizBold's subscription, monthly or yearly. Today's boards, streaks, leaderboards and achievements are free for everyone, and a Seasoncard gives no advantage in points or on the leaderboard.

With a Seasoncard you get the whole Archive in every game, unlimited training in every game, Challenges to send to your friends, no limit in Higher or Lower and Trivia, more saved grids in Build Your Own, unlimited Online multiplayer matches and a badge on your profile.

Without one, yesterday's board is free in The Archive, and the Training Ground for The Grid, Higher or Lower, Trivia, Build Your Own and Online multiplayer have a daily or weekly limit. Training and Challenges in the other games need a Seasoncard.

How do I cancel Seasoncard?

If you bought it on the website, sign in, open Profile and press Manage next to Seasoncard. That takes you to the payment portal, where you can cancel.

If you bought it in the app, you cancel in the store: in the App Store under Subscriptions in your Apple account, and in Google Play under Subscriptions. We cannot cancel a store purchase for you.

You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. The Terms of Trade describe withdrawal and refunds.

How do I delete my account?

On the website: sign in, open Profile, scroll down to Danger zone, press Delete account and confirm. In the app: open Profile, scroll down to Account, press Delete account and confirm. The account is gone straight away.

If you have a Seasoncard, cancel it first. Deleting your account does not stop the subscription by itself.

Which languages is QuizBold in?

Danish, English, Swedish and Norwegian. quizbold.dk is in Danish, quizbold.se in Swedish and quizbold.com in English, and the Norwegian version lives at quizbold.dk/no. You change language with the globe at the bottom of the page, and in the app under Profile.

The addresses of the legal pages are Danish on every domain, such as /privatlivspolitik, but the pages themselves are in your language.

Do you use cookies and analytics?

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your choices, such as language and league, and to keep track of your games in progress when you play without an account.Analytics with PostHog and Vercel Analytics only start once you have said yes in the cookie banner or in the question the app asks, and a yes applies only on the device where you gave it. If you say no while signed in, the no also applies on your other devices and in the app. You can withdraw your consent at any time under Profile or in the privacy policy. There are no ads in QuizBold.
