What is QuizBold?
QuizBold tests your knowledge of European football. You get a grid where every row and every column has its own requirement, and the task is to find players who meet both requirements at once.
How do I play?
Pick a square on the grid and search for a player who matches both the row and the column. A correct answer locks the square. The same player can only be used once on a grid, so save the safe names for the hard squares.
Is there a new grid every day?
Yes. Daily gives you a new grid every day, and it is the same grid for every player, so you can compare scores afterwards. If you want to keep playing right away, Practice gives you unlimited random grids.
How is my score calculated?
Points follow rarity. The fewer players who find your particular answer, the more it is worth, so an obvious star counts for less than an overlooked squad player. After each answer you can see what share of players picked the same one.
Which leagues and tournaments can I play?
QuizBold covers several European leagues and international tournaments, and the selection keeps growing. Open Data coverage in the game to see exactly which competitions and seasons are covered right now.
Where does the data come from?
Player and match data is collected from publicly available sources. We fix errors as we find them, so do write to us if you come across a player or a season that looks wrong.
Do I need an account?
No, you can play as a guest. Your progress is then only saved locally on the device you play on. If you sign in, your results follow you across devices, you join the leaderboard, and you can add friends.
Can I play against my friends?
Yes, in two ways. Local multiplayer gathers 2-9 players around the same device, and Online multiplayer is played turn by turn at your own pace, so you get a notification when it is your turn.
Can I build my own grid?
Yes. You choose the clubs, countries and criteria yourself and share the grid with a link, so your friends can try exactly the challenge you set up.
